In addition to their premium Australian origin FBS which is manufactured ‘in-house' in Australia, Bovogen Biologicals offers affordable FBS of non-Australian origin which has been sourced from countries with minimal risk of contamination by animal disease causing agents. The stringent quality systems which are applied to the collection and manufacture of FBS from these sources, assures a quality product that is second to none.

In support of these quality practices, most FBS of non-Australian origin offered by Bovogen Biologicals is certified by the European Directorate of Quality Medicines (EDQM) with a Certificate of Suitability, which deems the certified product suitable for use in the manufacture of medicines within the European Union.

Bovogen Biologicals' FBS of non-Australian origin is sourced from either United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and/or the European Union (EU) approved regions, and manufactured outside Australia under strict GMP conditions. All Bovogen Biologicals' non-Australian origin FBS is shipped direct from their international collaborators to the end user without entering Australia, unless required for use in Australia.

General Description: Bovogen Biologicals' FBS of non-Australian origin is sterile filtered (3 x 0.1µm) under strict GMP conditions in fully validated facilities located outside of Australia.

Raw Material Origin: Bovogen Biologicals' FBS of non-Australian origin is sourced from either United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and/or the European Union (EU) approved regions. These regions are South America, North America and Europe. 

The FBS source is fully traceable back to the abattoir in the country of origin and is supported by the availability of full collection and manufacturing records.

Certificate of Suitability: Most non-Australian sourced FBS offered by Bovogen Biologicals is certified by the European Directorate of Quality Medicines (EDQM) with a Certificate of Suitability.

Documentation: A Certificate of Analysis is supplied with all FBS orders. A Certificate of Origin is also supplied for export orders.

Storage and Handling: Product is shipped and stored at -10 to -40°C.
