Bovine Prothrombin - Crude
General Description: Bovogen Biologicals’ crude prothrombin is manufactured from Australian bovine blood plasma using salt precipitation. Once isolated by large scale centrifugation, the product is decanted into plastic pails and stored under frozen conditions.
Raw Material Origin: Manufactured from the plasma of animals of 100% Australian origin that have undergone veterinary ante- and post-mortem inspection and have been approved for human consumption.
Appearance: Light orange colored paste.
Applications: Applications for Bovine Prothrombin include:
- Use as a precursor to thrombin production and purification
- Active ingredient in topical surgical haemostatic applications
Documentation: A Certificate of Analysis is supplied with all orders. A Certificate of Origin is also supplied for export orders.
Storage and Handling: Product is shipped at ambient temperature however, recommended storage is at -10 to -40°C.
