Adult Bovine Serum (ABS)

General Description: Bovogen Biologicals’ ABS is collected in a manner which minimises haemoglobin and endotoxin levels, and processed in a fully validated state of the art sterile filtration facility. Bovogen Biologicals’ ABS is available as raw, 0.45 micron clarified, gamma irradiated and sterile serum.
Raw Material Origin: Bovine blood from adult bovine animals is collected from Australian and/or New Zealand registered export abattoirs under the supervision of Government Veterinary authorities. In line with our quality systems, the origin of Bovogen ABS is fully traceable back to the abattoir and is supported by the availability of full collection and manufacturing records, leaving no doubt as to its’ source.
Appearance: Largely dependent on the type of serum supplied but generally a clear, orange/brown solution, free of any particulate matter.

Documentation: A Certificate of Analysis is supplied with all ABS orders. A Certificate of Origin is also supplied for export orders.
Storage and Handling: Product is shipped and stored at -10 to -40°C.
